A SENIOR WANTS TO LEARN WHATSAPP AND WECHAT

Last week, we received a call from a senior citizen who wanted to chat and do video calls with his son staying abroad. He described his requirement and we assured him that we are always there to help our clients. We suggested him to purchase a smartphone for this purpose. He required help in purchasing since he had no knowledge about smartphones.

He required help in purchasing since he did not know smartphones. As per his requirements and budget, we shortlisted him two smartphones perfect for him. He asked us to make a choice and had it delivered to his address.
After two days, he had his smartphone delivered. We called him to arrange a meeting. One of our people visited him and configured the device for him. We set up the Contact and Calendar Server on our machines and connected that to his Smartphone. Now, he was able to enter new contact details. Since it is hard work for someone who never did that, our employee opened his Laptop and logged in to the CalDav account and created all the contacts for the client, our employee further enter birthdays and other contact details, as per the clients' requirements. Now, we installed him asked him, where his son is, he replied: China. Therefore, we had to install WeChat or WeiXin on his smartphone, since WhatsApp is often blocked in China. We suggested him to install WhatsApp as well since he can stay in touch with friends in the rest of the world. We created the accounts on WhatsApp and WeChat for him and showed him how it works. Further, we installed some Security Software.
Now, we finally let him call his son. He was overwhelmed with the experience and kept thanking us for almost half an hour.
He had to make sure that now he can make a video call on his own or do some essential work. So, we guided him with all the procedures thoroughly again. He expressed his interest in purchasing a laptop also so that he can keep in pace with the modern world. We assured him again that we can always help him with this also. Maybe after a month, he said he would contact us. We explained to him we will deliver him a configured laptop with videos containing training courses for his preferred operating system. Further, he said that he would definitely recommend us to his friends.
He liked our patience for bearing with him over call for such a long time, but then he was delighted with the result. After all, a customer’s happiness is our happiness.
